Description
Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302, the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare Veterans Integrated Services Network 4 (VISN 4), Acquisition Office, 7180 Highland Drive (90C-H), Pittsburgh, PA 15206 intends to contract The Grant Group, A Management Development Corporation, on a sole source basis to provide a unique curriculum tailored to experienced supervisors in the VA Healthcare - VISN 4 network. Training will be conducted in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh PA. The Grant Group is dedicated primarily to the management of human capital through the training of experienced supervisors in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in matters of human resource management. Training is specifically developed for experienced front-line supervisors. Due to the highly specialized nature of this training syllabus, the developer must have in-depth knowledge and proven experience in the areas of Veterans Healthcare Administration (VHA) human resource management. The training program will include formal presentations supported by tutorials, graphics, and multimedia (as necessary). Guided walk through of appropriate case examples to demonstrate theory and practice, as well as, application of criteria to case examples by participants followed by discussion, and sharing best-practices from other VAs. The estimated value of this sole source acquisition is $26,000. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet VISN 4 needs by Monday, August 4, 2008. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to Anthony Warner, VA Healthcare VISN 4, Acquisition Office (90C-H), 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 or through email at: anthony.warner@va.gov. This synopsis is not to be considered as a request for quotation or proposals. No solicitation document is available at this time and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and is more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response is received within three (3) days from the publication of this synopsis, a contract may be issued to The Grant Group without further notice.
