- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is included in this notice and attachments. Solicitation Number AG-03R6-S-08-0123 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification Code is 237310, size standard is $31.0 million. A quotation is requested for asphalt paving an existing gravel parking lot; removal, disposal, and replacement of an existing asphalt parking lot; and associated drainage appurtenances on the Hungry Horse Ranger Station Compound, Flathead County, Hungry Horse, Montana, as specifics are identified in the attached documents; submittal instructions can be found in Block 11.(b) of the Standard Form 18. Complete package consists of three attachments: main package; package attachment; and drawings. Price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Basis of Award: Quoter shall quote on all line items to be considered for award. One award will be made. Offer of award will be made to the Quoter whose quote, as determined by the Contracting Officer, provides the best value to the Government, considering but not limited to, such factors as price, past performance, and capability to accomplish this type of work. The Experience Questionnaire will be used as part of this evaluation. No site visit is planned for this project. Interested parties may visit the site during work hours Monday through Friday at the Hungry Horse Ranger Station. The services needed include the following: Mobilization; Removal of Existing Pavement and Concrete; Crushed Aggregate Base; and Minor Hot Asphalt Concrete. Payment for Bond Premiums shall not be in addition to the contract price. Quotes must be received by August 14, 2008, at 4:00 P.M.
