- Description
- The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract. This design-build project consists of renovations and repairs to streets, parking lots and drainage systems for various buildings and sites located at North Fort Polk, Louisiana. All work is site work, and includes new streets, parking lots, and drainage structures, repair and rehabilitation of existing streets and parking lots and drainage structures as well as any required site grading, sidewalks, fencing and drives as identified in the RFP plans and specifications for this project. The contractor shall further develop and fully verify these requirements in the development of Plans and Specifications prior to construction. NAICS Code is 237310. Small Business Size Standard is $31.0 Million. Estimated Construction Cost Range is $5,000.000.00 to $10, 000,000.00. Restrictions of this requirement: Competition will be limited to Small Business Firms. W9126G-08-R-0227 will be issued on or about August 12, 2008, with proposals due on or about September 12, 2008 (unless otherwise stated in the solicitation). This contract will be based on best value to the Government, which may or may not result in accepting the lowest priced offer. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only at the following address: www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via Internet only, as well. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check www.fbo.gov daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. All technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Business Opportunity website at https://www.fbo.gov.
