- Program Executive Office (PEO) Ships, Support Ships, Boats, and Craft Program Office (PMS 325) will conduct an Industry Day on 03 September 2008 to disseminate information regarding the planned acquisition of the Ocean Class general oceanographic research vessel (AGOR). The purpose of the conference will be to provide an overview of the Ocean Class AGOR program and of the planned, upcoming Ocean Class AGOR solicitation. Advance registration is required. Due to limited space, only three (3) persons from each organization will be permitted to attend. Depending on the number of respondents, this number may be reduced to two (2) persons per organization. Organizations must request attendance no later than 27 August 2008. Individuals that have not registered in advance will not be permitted to attend. Requests for attendance shall be sent via email to smathis@alionscience.com and shall include the following information: -Name(s)-Position-Telephone Number-Company-Mailing Address-Primary Business (Shipbuilder/Design Agent/Equipment Vendor/other)-E-mail Address The conference will be held at 1100 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington DC, 20003, 2nd floor, in the Independence A conference room. The conference will begin at 09:00 A.M. Sign in will commence at 08:00 A.M. Additional information regarding the Ocean Class AGOR Industry Day, to include registration instructions, directions, maps, agenda, etc, will be available at the PEO Ships Ocean Class AGOR public website http://peoships.crane.navy.mil/ocindustryday. Please note that Industry participation is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse respondents or attendees for any efforts expended as a result of or in response to this notice. No specific acquisition strategy or contractual plans for the Ocean Class AGOR Program will be addressed during Industry Day.
