- Pre-solicitation Notice for Brand Name or Equal Emergency Response Vehicle Lease. W911S8-08-Q-0037 It is the intention of the Directorate of Contracting on Fort Lewis, Washington to award the following items on a Brand Name or Equal Basis. Vendors are encouraged to submit technical specifications to inform this office of possible items that will meet the 2008 Simmit Heavy Rescue Truck Brand Name or Equal requirements in accordence with FAR 52.211-6. The lease contract period will be as follows: 12 month base period/year with an option year of 12 months. The government will have no obligation to purchase this equipment. The vehicle will be an available/DEMO unit and must be delivered in 90 days or less. The vehicle must have less than 12000 miles. The vehicle must have full factory warranty. The vehicle must meet or exceed the specifications of the 2008 Summit Heavy Rescue Vehicle. Offerors submitting quotes certify that the vehicle they are offering meets the minimum technical specifications and salient charteristics of the required item The applicable NAICS code is 532120. Offers are due no later than 11 August 2008 at 2:30 PM, Pacific Daylight Savings Time. Vendors may submit written questions and techincal specification to prove Same/Equal/Better for these requirements to Tracy Oyler at tracy.oyler@us.army.mil. TELEPHONIC REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This procurement is unrestricted. Vendors offering a response to this notice should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database at http://www.bpn.gov/ prior to submission of offers for consideration. http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc
