- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from GE Fanuc Embedded Systems, 12090 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, AL 35803-3308, the sole source manufacturer. This requirement is for a Firm Fixed-Price contract to acquire VME processors, drives and controllers, PCI expansion, Ethernet cards, Compact Flash with Socket Expansion Card, and Software Developers Kit. List of items by quantity, stock number, and description: three (3) PMC244FP, PMC card with single compact flash socket, front panel access, 33/66Mhz PCI bus; three (3) CF8GB, 8 GB compact flash; nine (9) V7865-220003, 6U VME-64 with Core Duo 2Ghz, 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 2x RS-232/422 serial ports, 1x PCI-X PMC site, 2x USB 2.0 ports, 2x front Gigabit Ethernet, 2x SATA interfaces via P2, SVGA, RoHS Compliant commercial grade 0 degree to 55 degrees; nine (9) PMC-0247-122000, SATA I (150 Mbps), 80 Gbyte Hard Disk, Extended Duty (5 to 40 degrees C); nine (9) PMC237CM1/V, 6U, PCI Expansion, (3) PMC sites, connects to VMIVME-7807; three (3) PMC676TX, Dual, 10/100/1000 BaseTX, Intel chip set; three (3) PMC613FXRCSC, Dual 100FX Ethernet PMC with SC connectors, RoHS compliant; and one (1) V7865-SDK-LINUX, Software Developers Kit for LINUX on the V7865. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The quote number is N00178-08-Q-3693 and is a request for quote. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. A written request for quote will not be issued as all items are identified in this synopsis. Quote is due 6 August 2008, no later than 4:00 p. m. (local NSWCDD time) with an anticipated award date by 20 August 2008.
