- Description
- This project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor to perform construction work for the complete installation of a concrete slab, oil water separator, and concrete containment, piping, air compressor, air diaphragm pumps, and a new one-story pre-engineered metal building. The building will require electrical service and heating. The project is located adjacent to the Retention Reservoir at Arnold Air Force Base Tennessee. Performance period is 180 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Invitation for Bid will be available on or about 14 August 2008. Bid opening date will be on or about 15 September 2008. Construction Magnitude: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Invitation for Bid (IFB) will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of IFB Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information. NOTICE: Award of a contract will be in accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor received notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
