- BLM Invitation for Bids, NAB080119, WILDLIFE WATER TANKS TO BE DELIVERED TO STEPTOE VALLEY WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA, SOUTH OF ELY, NEVADA. Solicitation number NAB080119 applies and will be issued on or about August 6, 2008 as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the following requirement: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Ely Field Office has a requirement for the following items: 1) 69 Wildlife Guzzler Tanks, in accordance with the following specifications: Minimum 1,800 gallon capacity; high density, crosslinked-polyethylene w/ UV inhibitors; seamless, one-piece construction of bottom portion of tank w/ detachable dome top engineered to collect water; drinker is integrated into/part of tank; lightweight (less than 1,000 pounds) and low profile (less than 4 feet high) for easy transport with flatbed truck or trailer, or by helicopter. 2) 11 Small Catchment Aprons, in accordance with the following specifications: 22.5 feet x 80 feet, 40 mil thick with prewelded 2.5 inch diameter boot and clampsEach catchment apron shall include the following: -2 feet long x 4 inch diameter 20 slot stainless steel well screen with 2 inch ion pipe thread (IPT) -2 inch poly pipe x 2 inch male IPT adapter -2 inch diameter, 160 PSI, SDR 11, HDPE pipe, 250 feet long 3) 12 Large Catchment Aprons, in accordance with the following specifications: 22.5 feet x 120 feet, 40 mil thick with prewelded 2.5 inch diameter boot and clamps Each catchment apron shall include the following: -2 feet long x 4 inch diameter 20 slot stainless steel well screen with 2 inch ion pipe thread (IPT) -2 inch poly pipe X 2 inch male IPT adapter -2 inch diameter, 160 PSI, SDR 11, HDPE pipe, 250 feet long Delivery shall be made by October 1, 2008. This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 423990. Size standard is 100 employees. Bids are due August 27, 2008 by 2:00 P.M. Denver Local Time. Bidders must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be considered for award. The anticipated award date is September 3, 2008 for a Firm Fixed Unit Price Type contract.
