- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-T-0628 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with PSSC Labs, 20432 North Sea Circle, Lake Forest, CA 92630-8806. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. This requirement is described as follows: CLIN 0001 will be issued for twenty-two (22) each of GSA P/N 800150 PSSC Labs Dual Processor Dual Core Opteron Rev. F PowerNode, one (1) each of GSA P/N 80180 PSSC Labs Dual Processor Quad Core Opteron Barcelona PowerNode, and two (2) each of GSA P/N 800560 PSSC Labs Dual Processor Dual Core Opteron Barcelona PowerServer. FOB is Destination, Redstone Arsenal, AL. The required period of performance for CLIN 0001 is from date of award through 31 December 2008. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial items; Provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFER, Provision 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions, and Provision 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 16:00, Local Time, 4 August 2008 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B140, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Facsimile quotes are acceptable at 256-876-1631 to the attention of Elaine Cameron. Quotes/offers received after the specified due date and time will not be considered for award.
