- Description
- This project is located at and around the Lake Isabella Headquarters Office within the Sequoia National Forest. Work includes site construction survey and staking; demolition of miscellaneous existing features and underground utilities where encountered; new 30,000 gallon ground mounted bolted steel water storage tank; pump house with duplex pressure pumps, pressure tanks, piping, controls, and electrical service; new submersible pump with controls in existing well; replacement of valves of various sizes; valve boxes, yard hydrants, fire hydrants, and up to 200 LF of waterline in the existing distribution system; connection to existing waterlines; patch paving to include excavation and backfill; optional work item: demolition and disposal of existing elevated steel water tank and tower. Bonding will be required. The price range of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated contract time is 200 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 22, 2008. (Project site is normally accessible year round, but is not guaranteed). A pre-bid tour will not be conducted. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site on their own.
