- NOTICE OF INTENT: 58 Communications, Detection and Coherent Radiation Equipment Contract Specialist: Ron Kennedy, Code 2.2.6RK, Telephone (843) 218-5820; Fax (843) 218-5963; Contracting Officer: Paula S. Somers, Telephone (843) 218-5976; Fax (843) 218-5963. Description: Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to negotiate, on a sole-source basis, with General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Inc.(GDATP), Burlington, VT. The contract will include a base year and two one-year options for the following two components manufactured by GDATP: (a) 5U Internal Tray Assemblies, part number 10090863; and (b) 5Ue Front Lid Assemblies, part number 10090806. These components, which are proprietary to GDATP, are being procured as spares based on compatibility with existing critical electronic countermeasure systems. A Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS Code is 334419 and FSC Code 5865 applies.
