Description
Meter, Field Strength. Item 0001: NSN: 6625-01-562-5711KV, Part Number: PD08WRGBGBEB17. The Radio Frequency Survey System is a small portable electronics device, which used to detect the RF leakage and to measure potentially hazardous electromagnetic radiation from Radio Frequency and Microwave sources during testing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) in the shop. The system consists of a Survey Meter, a Probe, a cable and a storage case. The system is a hand-held, battery operated RF survey meter capable to perform accurate measurement of electromagnetic fields. It has LCD display and measuring units in mW/cm2, W/m2, A/m and percent of International Standards. It is equipped with an audible alarm and direct connects with a Probe. The Probe operates from 300MHz to 50 GHz. The purpose of the Radio Frequency Survey Meter (RF Monitor) used to detect and to measure potentially hazardous electromagnetic radiation from Radio Frequency and Microwave sources during testing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) while utilizing the F-15 TISS and the F-15 AIS. Delivery: 100 Days ARO. This requirement is for basic quantity of 6 ea and five options of 1-10 EA. Option may be exercised for AF (Air Force) or FMS (Foreign Military Sales) requirements. Assets will be shipped FOB Origin to multiple CONUS locations for AF requirements and for FMS requirements it will require FOB Origin with destinations to be cited. Offerors shall prepare their quotes in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. The Government will evaluate past performance utilizing the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and other sources of data as will be stated in RFQ. Quotes will be evaluated and award made in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFQ. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW RATINGS IN PPIRS FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be released on or around 13 August 2008 at an estimated response date of 2 Sept 2008. The RFQ will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement.
