- A. REQUEST FOR QUOTATION UNDER ARMY SMALL COMPUTER PROGRAM CONTRACT SCHEDULE. Contractors shall ensure that the supplies provided is properly included under the ASCP contract vehicle proposed. If it is not, the quote will be removed from consideration. B. REQUIREMENT. The US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a Brand Name Justification for METALOGIC SHAREPOINT SITE MIGRATION MANAGER SINGLE USER LICENSE. G6 is planning to upgrading 3 portals from SharePoint Portal 2003 to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007. The SharePoint Site Migration Manager must be installed on each target SharePoint Portals in order to maintain consistency and for simultaneous migration efforts across the USASOC’s enterprise, the Portal migration process must include utilizing the Metalogix SharePoint Site Migration Manager tool brand name that is equal to what is currently being used by our subordinate commands. To avoid data loss and efficiently manage the process of identifying, extracting, transforming and loading existing Portal sites and content into MOSS 2007 repositories, the migration team requires a tool that provides the below listed automated migration features: MIGRATION FEATURE REQUIREMENTSCRITICALITY Compatible with Microsoft SharePoint API's and other Microsoft platformsHigh Mapping of Custom / default SharePoint 2003 site templates to MOSS 2007High Retain valuable metadata, permissions and security groups for remapping and replication High Migration of List / Library Items and properties to New Target Lists / LibrariesHigh Migration of Folders / Subfolders High Ability to filter, rename, and perform incremental migration High Ability to connect to multiple SharePoint Sites across multiple serversHigh Replication of Site Structures, Hierarchies, lists, library content and map to new site and list templates High Migrate list types, web parts, document discussions, custom lists, metadata and permissions High The Metalogix Share Point Migration Tool has already been tested for use on USASOC’s Network and the EITC Portal Team contracted to migrate the Enterprise Portals Team contracted to migrate the Enterprise Portals from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2007 are already familiar with this migration tool.
