- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for boiler inspection services at the VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Rd, Decatur GA for the period October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009, with four (4) one year option periods. Contractor shall inspect, check, adjust and replace parts as necessary to perform quarterly inspections and combustion test on the fuel burning equipment on both Natural Gas and No. 2 Fuel Oil for each boiler. All work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with the VHA Boiler Plant Safety Device Testing Manual Second Edition, CEOSH website. Annual safety inspections on all items in the equipment schedule shall be performed by an inspector holding a current National Inspection Code of Commissions for Certificate Inspections. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, with a size standard of $6.5 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. This solicitation will be issued on/about July 30, 2008. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer, fax (478) 274-5588.
