- Description
- The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking professional design services from an architect-engineering (A/E) firm to develop work drawings and specifications for a project involving renovation of its dental lab located in the PVAMC facility located at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The contractor will be required to develop construction contract drawings and specifications for renovation work to include demolition, door relocation, new architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work (including demolition and renovation of existing systems) to accommodate new architectural layout and casework, as well as HVAC work including a new exhaust hood system with fans, diffusers and replacement of two existing 4,000 CFM AHUs with one consolidated unit in the existing penthouse. The services of a structural engineer will be required to address structural issues posed by the proposed renovation. This procurement is limited to small businesses in NAICS code 541310 and the small business size standard is $4.5 million. Interested firms shall submit a current SF 330 to the attention of Elizabeth Youse, Contracting Officer (90C-C), Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. The geographical area of consideration is a two hour radius from PVAMC. Due date for SF 330s is August 14, 2008 at 11:00am. This is a request for submission of SF 330s and no request for proposals is available and no materials other than SF 330s will be accepted.
