- SOLICITATION NO. 301818B148 PROJECT TITLE: Construct a Two-Bedroom Bunkhouse at Chautauqua Hqtrs PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife ServiceIllinois River National Wildlife Refuge19031 E County Road 2110 NHavana, IL 62644 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work involves supplying all labor, materials, and equipment necessary and required to construct a one-story, wood-framed bunkhouse with poured concrete foundation and insulated and conditioned crawlspace. The building is to be approximately 28-feet by 50-feet in rough horizontal dimensions, energy efficient, and shall contain two (2) bedrooms; two (2) baths; great room with kitchen-dining-living room; utility-mudroom; screened porch; ramps to doors; and associated site, septic system and utility work for a complete and functional facility. The work includes: site work, foundation construction, building construction, interior finishes, electrical, mechanical and plumbing, appliances, and appurtenances. The work shall meet all applicable building codes and ABA accessibility guidelines. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000 - $500,000. This procurement is NOT set-aside exclusively for small businesses under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236118 Site preparation contractors with a size standard of $31 Million Dollars. The Solicitation Package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideas.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about August 14, 2008. Quotes due on or about September 16, 2008 11:00AM (CDT) A hard copy of the Solicitation package will be made available only upon written request and will include the following: An itemized Scope of Work, Pictures, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination.
