Description
Bids are being solicited under solicitation number 81890100. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. To view the specifications, please go to www.FedBid.com and reference Buy No. 77903. GSA Schedule Bids Preferred, But Not Required: Sellers may either provide a GSA Schedule or an Open Market bid. If bidding with a GSA Schedule, the requested items must be on that Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-08-12 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be Yuma, AZ 85365 The US ACA Yuma Proving Grounds requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, Monitor 30" 2560 x 1600 Widescreen flat panel.30-inch Monitor that will display 1080p Blu-ray DVD video content and is compliant with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), additional connectors: S-Video, Composite, Component, 9-in-2 media reader, USB 2.0, adjustable height, 5, EA; LI 002, Minimum requirements for 5 systems include: XP Windows Pro 32 Bit1 GB video processor, available to connect to 2-4 30-inch monitors Intel Core 2 processor, 1600 MHz Front Side Bus (FSB), Overclocked to 4.0 GHz4 GB of DDR3 RAMLiquid coolingAcoustic dampening1200 Watt power supply1.5 to 3.0 Gb/s hard disk drive with 10,000 RPM Two Optical Drives:(a) 20x Dual Layer Burner (DVD+/-RW) with light scribe labeler(b) 4x Dual Layer Blu-ray Burner7.1 Audio Card2-year warranty with phone support and onsite service28-in-1 media card reader (1) Video Card: 1 GB video processor(s) with Quad Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), available to connect to 2 or 3 30-inch monitors with dual-link Digital Video Interface (DVI), 1 or 2 High Definition Media Interface (HDMI) connectors, must support Blu-ray DVD video content with excellent screen rendering, an example that meets the requirements is the NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 video card (2) Software that controls the display hardware (video cards). The software has a simple menu can provide access to controls over your display hardware from the system tray, including sophisticated color correction tools, period level adjustments over screen geometry, and driver independent clock controls. (3) Motherboard Chip Set: Chip set is matched to the video card, for example: NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard (4) Computer Case (tower): Case must have tool-less front and side panels, 5, EA; For this solicitation, US ACA Yuma Proving Grounds intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. US ACA Yuma Proving Grounds is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Sellers may not artificially manipulate the price of a transaction on www.FedBid.com by any means.
