- SOURCES SOUGHT CATEGORY: AIRCRAFT PARTS BACKGROUND: This sources sought announcement is published to obtain sources for various spare parts manufactured by the HU-25 Guardian aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Dassault Aviation, previously Avions Marcel Dassault-Brequet Aviation (AMD-BA) and the OEM’s sole approved vendor. Limited competition exists among Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation (DFJ), Little Ferry, NJ, and several other responsible distributors who can furnish the required spare parts with traceability to the French Manufacturers. SYNOPSIS: A Sources Sought announcement is published to obtain sources for the purchase of the following items for a requirement contract in the year 2009. The parts are utilized on the Coast Guard fleet of HU25 aircrafts, a military adaptation of the Falcon 20 aircraft manufactured by Avions Marcel Dassault Brequet of France.
