- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has a requirement for total demolition and removal of all building material and burnt debris of Building Nos. 49 and 69, including foundations, sidewalks, fences, etc, and to leave area level with top soil capable of growing grass. The project requires compliance with 40 CFR environmental regulations, OSHA worker protection, and DOT regulations. The final report shall be certified by a Professional Engineer. A firm fixed Price Environmental Engineering Contract will be awarded. This acquisition is Set Aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS Code is 541330. The Period of Performance will be 30 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Due to the urgency of this requirement, the response time is shortened to 15 days. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request to obtain the solicitation package either by mail or by fax, Fax No. (505) 863-8382. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will not be accepted. Faxed copies of the solicitation will not be accepted. Technical inquiries must be submitted in writing seven (7) days before the closing date. Offers are due at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, P.O. Box 1060, 301 West Hill, Room No. 346, Gallup, New Mexico 87301, by 4:30 pm (local time) close of business, August 05, 2008.
