- This requirement is in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal is N00253-08-R-0054. The NUWC Keyport has a requirement for the following non-commercial items: MK 54 Machined Parts in accordance with the below requirements. CLIN Item 0001 Aft Adapter Shell IAW Navy drawing 7446789-1 quantity 10; CLIN Item 0002 Aft Adapter Shell IAW Navy drawing 7446789-1 quantity 5; CLIN Item 0003 Hull Assembly Forward IAW Navy drawing 7446788 quantity 10; CLIN Item 0004 Hull Assembly Forward IAW Navy drawing 7446788 quantity 7; CLIN Item 0005 Hull Assembly Forward IAW Navy drawing 7446788 quantity 5; CLIN Item 0006 Flood Valve Assembly IAW Navy drawing 6537609 quantity 50. This will be a small business set-aside and the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 332710 and has a size standard of 500 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination. The solicitation will be available for download on or around 5 August 2008. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov). A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no paper copies of these RFP/amendments will be mailed. The RFP (request for proposal) will be posted electronically on the NECO and FedBizOpps websites. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from these websites and to frequently monitor the sites for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to paul.grdina@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the websites. RFP (solicitation package) is posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at www.neco.navy.mil and is also available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Any questions or requests for drawings should be submitted in writing via fax at (360) 396-7036 or e-mailed to paul.grdina@navy.mil. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation. *The above drawings referenced in CLINS 0001 through 0006 are Restricted. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information will be attached to this solicitation in FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps is designed to safeguard sensitive, but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information and is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as NECO and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To obtain information from FedBizOpps, vendor/contractor must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR), have a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) and the appointed Data Custodian must be registered.
