- Upgrade the existing underground electrical distribution and the sanitary sewer system located at Catoctin Mountain Park. The work of this contract consists of the upgrade of the existing underground electrical distribution and the sanitary sewer system located at Catoctin Mountain Park. The principle work includes all equipment, labor, materials and supplies needed for the upgrading of the existing underground electrical distribution system that currently feeds the Fire Cache, Poplar Grove Well Pump, Ike Smith Pump Station, and Owens Creek Campground. This includes providing new feeders in conduit and connecting to existing transformers at all the above locations, adding a primary master meter at Camp Misty Mount with 20A fused disconnect. Work shall also include providing a sanitary lift station which can lift waste from a low point in Camp Greentop to an existing manhole on Park Central Road. This procurement is open to all sized businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. However, a HUBZone evaluation factor will apply. All contractors experienced in this type of construction work may compete for this contract. Estimated project magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330 with a small business size of $4.5 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. A small business concern is defined as a concern (including all of its subsidiaries) having less than or equal to $4.5 million annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about August 4, 2008. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge all amendments to the solicitation.
