- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE APPROXIMATELY 1,466 RSF (YIELDING AT LEAST 1,275 ANSI/BOMA OFFICE AREA SQUARE FEET) OF OFFICE SPACE AND 10 PARKING SPACES. The space must meet requirements for fire-safety plus handicapped access in accordance with ABAAS guidelines. Space shall be located within a prime business district with attractive, prestigious, professional surroundings with a prevalence of modern design and/or tasteful rehabilitation in modern use. Space shall be contiguous on one floor. Space shall be ready for occupancy no later than June 1st, 2009. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years, seven (7) years firm. DELINEATED AREA: Within the city of Middletown, CT, further delineated by the following: North: Railroad Tracks (just north of Grand Street) South: Union Street East: Connecticut River West: Pearl Street and Broad Street EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING NO LATER THAN AUGUST 7, 2008 AND SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1)Building name and address, and location of space in the building. 2)Legal description 3)Drawing of space offered 4)ANSI/BOMA defined Office Area Square Feet 5)Rentable Square Feet Offered 6)Percentage of Common Area Factor used to Determine the Rentable Square Feet 7)Number of parking spaces available on the premises. 8) Name, address, telephone number, and email address of individual to be contacted. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the Offeror is representing more than one property, the Offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
