- Description
- The U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command (JM&L LCMC), Picatinny Arsenal, N.J. intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Sabre Consulting & Training LLC under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 for Logistic Analysis for Ammunition Distribution and Storage. The contractor will conduct a study to determine the system wide impacts with respect to the distribution and storage of ammunition and potentially other classes of supplies. The contractor will baseline current distribution chain processes and develops efficiency benchmarks to specify performance impacts due to the fielding of new packaging and transportation components. Procedures found in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. The requirement is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Their will be a base period and option periods totaling 18 months.Note 22 and 29
