- Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) intends to issue a request for quote for Stevedoring and Related Services Terminal Services (S&RTS) for Cape Canaveral FL. The Offeror will arrange for and provide S&RTS, including all material and equipment, except those specified as Government Furnished, in accordance with the Performance Work Statement in the RFQ. The period of performance is for a 4 year base period. The anticipated contract start date is 1 April 2009. The proposed solicitation is 100% small business set aside and NAICS code is 4888320 with size standard of $21MIL applies. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Sep 2008 and close approximately 30 days thereafter. A pre-proposal conference will be held for this procurement. The date and time and other information will be provided with the solicitation. Cut off date for questions will be 10 days after the release of the RFQ. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Sources interested shall provide a response via e-mail to the Government POC identified below. Response shall include: Company name, POC, title, telephone (fax and office), and e-mail address.
