- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following items from Network Appliance (NetApp).: a quantity of 2 Non-Returnable Disk Fee Renewal-FAS940CPost-Warranty 12 Months, Begin 04/01/2008 Serial No.: 110378011 and 11038022 P/N CS-R0NRD-FEE; a quantity of 2 NBD Parts Delivery and SW subscription- FAS940CPost-Warranty, 12 Months, Begin 04/01/2008, Serial No.: 110378011 and 110378022 (Model FAS94) P/N CS-S-SSP-NBD. This particular manufacturers items are required to ensure 100 percent compatibility with existing software. This software support is required for critical developmental programs, no substitutes are acceptable. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00PM ET on 22 July 2008. The anticipated award date is 28 July 2008. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be no longer than 30 days after award date. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
