- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure four concrete targets for flight trials with an option for a fifth target. The decision to exercise the option will be made within one week from time of award. This procurement is a 100% HUB-Zone Small Business set-aside. NAWCWD will solicit this requirement using Commercial Item Acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items and FAR Part 12. Request for Quotation (RFQ) N68936-08-T-0201. NAWCWD China Lake is located in the California Mojave Desert approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles, and approximately 90 miles north of Edwards Air Force Base in Lancaster, CA. NAWCWD will provide the site where the pour will be completed. Dimensions: 12 ft x 12 ft x 3 ft 4 inches psi concrete. Built at ground level constructed on plywood as the base. The RFQ will provide drawing specifications for the targets with other information that will be required for offerors to prepare a quotation. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and technical factors considered. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. Offerors must be listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Inspection and acceptance at Destination.
