- Solicitation Number N9325080009; THIS PROCUREMENT IS A 100% SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZone SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS; NAICS code 236115; Small business size standard: $31.0 million; Construction Magnitude: $250,000 to $500,000. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract. The work of this contract consists of demolition of an existing structure, and construction of a site built residential housing unit with a garage, site improvements, grading, utilities, exterior aprons, roads driveways, walks, and finish landscaping and incidental related work at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Additional information on John Day Fossil Beds National Monument can be located at www.nps.gov/joda. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Telephone / FAX requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal on or about August 3, 2008 with a response date 30 days thereafter. A pre-bid conference/site visit will be held at the time and place specified in the solicitation. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal--the Government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. In order to download the solicitation, interested vendors must register at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. It is mandatory that all respondents be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy until the due date and time specified in the solicitation. All responses must be signed by an authorized company official. Responses should be mailed to Rodney J. Roberson, Olympic National Park, 600 E. Park Avenue, Port Angeles, WA 98362. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. Any questions must be in writing and e-mailed to Rod_Roberson@nps.gov. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments.
