- FISC-N, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division proposes to contract for delivery of prescription safety glasses. The requirement includes frames, frame accessories and lenses in various quantities, sizes and styles. The Government requires that lenses and frames meet the current and future ANSI Z87.1 and ANSI Z80.1 standards in addition to Norfolk Naval Shipyard requirements. A three to five day turnaround time is required. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements Type contract with firm fixed unit prices is anticipated. The contract will be for a base year (estimated quantity is 3000 pairs per year) with four (4) one (1) year options. All options will be evaluated with the base period. Response date for submission of offers will be established in the written solicitation. Requirement will be handled utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. NAICS Code 339113 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. Important Notice: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
