Description
The work shall include, but is not limited to supplying all materials, labor, and incidental items necessary to remove existing toilet facilities, construct prefabricated toilets (and modify) with photovoltaic systems (and modify), construct associated aggregate and concreteaccess trails, rehabiliate and seed all disturbed areas, and perform all necessary earthwork and grading necessary to complete the project Project consists of three different project locations: (1) Peaceful Valley Campground: Located 18 miles North of Nederland. From Boulder, Colorado drive West on Highway 119 to Nederland. Turn North on Highway 72 towards Estes Park. Peaceful Valley is located on the left, about 18 miles from Nederland. (2) Willow Creek Day Use Area: Located 7 miles North of Granby. From Granby, Colorado drive West on Highway 40. Turn North on Highway 34 towards Grand Lake, Colorado. Turn right in about 5.5 miles onto CR 6. Willow Creek is about 1 mile on the left. (3) Monarch Lake Day Use Area: Located 17 miles Northeast of Granby. From Granby, Colorado drive West on Highway 40. Turn North on Highway 34 towards Grand Lake. Turn right in about 5.5 miles onto CR 6. Monarch Lake is at the end of the road, about 10 miles from Highway 34. The desired start of work date for this project is as soon as practicable after contract award. The Contractor will be given 45 days to complete the project. The Government estimate for this project is below $500,000. The solicitation for this project shall be issued on or around July 7, 2008. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance. There will be a pre-proposal meeting for this project on July 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. local time. This pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Peaceful Valley Campground. Peaceful Valley Campground is located 18 Miles North of Nederland, Colorado. From Boulder, Colorado, drive West on Highway 119 to Nederland. Turn North on Highway 72 towards Estes Park. Peaceful Valley Campground is located on the left, about 18 miles from Nederland. All parties who will attend this site visit must RSVP with Christina A. Schofield on or before July 11, 2008 for the pre-proposal meeting by calling 970-295-6635. Attendance is not required to submit a proposal. This project is being set aside for Small Business Concerns. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted in writing to cschofield@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6699. Only written questions will be addressed. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor’s Registry (CCR) in accordance with FAR 52.207-4 to be considered for award. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance with FAR 52.204-8 to be considered for award. All Offerors must address all Evaluation Criteria in Section M to be considered for award. Offerors who fail to do so will be considered unresponsive. MODIFICATION ONE TO THIS NOTICE ADDS A SECOND PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING DATE. THE DATE FOR THE SECOND PREPROPOSAL MEETING FOR THIS PROJECT IS JULY 23, 2008 AT 10:00 LOCAL TIME. ALL ATTENDEES SHALL MEET AT THE PEACEFUL VALLEY CAMPGROUND. PEACEFUL VALLEY CAMPGROUND IS LOCATED 18 MILES NORTH OF NEDERLAND, COLORADO. FROM BOULDER, COLORADO, DRIVE WEST ON HIGHWAY 119 T NEDERLAND. TURN NORTH ON HIGHWAY 72 TOWARDS ESTES PARK.
