- SOLICITATION NOTICE: FA8601-08-R-0018 Renovate and Add Addition tothe K-9 facility, WPAFB, OH. The purpose of this notice is to notify all small business firms that possess capability and experience to accomplish the work described below to be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH. This could result in a competition for small business firms. Project is to renovate the existing building addition of approximately 1,155 square feet. The new construction shall consist of an addition to the existing facility. This addition shall measure approximately 3,458 square feet. Period of Performance is 250 days. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CONCERNS: The statutory limitation of $750,000 for new construction applies to this acquisition. OVERALL SCOPE OF MAGNITUDE: $500,000 - $1,000,000 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. Size Standard $31M The solicitation/RFP is issued electronically. It is posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Wright-Patterson AFB Pre-Award Information Exchange System (PIXS) website at: http://www/pixs/wpafb.af.mil/. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. Defense procurement and finance policies require contractors to be registered by for consideration in future solicitations, awards, and payment. DoD contracting officers worldwide will use CCR to identify sources and financial officers will use it to make payments.
