- The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District is seeking Small Business firms to furnish all plant, labor, equipment and material and performing all operations required to design, manufacture, assemble, factory test as necessary, prepare for shipment and storage, deliver, and provide an erecting engineer during the installation, erection and field testing of two vertical pumps rated 50 cfs and one vertical pump rated at 65 cfs, complete with all accessories and appurtenances as indicated on contract drawings. This is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) and the public bid opening information will be in the solicitation. This solicitation is expected to be issued on or about July 28, 2008. This solicitation is restricted to small businesses. NAICS Code for this work is 237110. To be considered a small business under this code the size standard must not exceed $31 Million. For changes to the issue date or any other changes to the information in this synopsis, potential bidders are responsible to check the information at www.fedbizopps.gov/. The solicitation package will be posted on FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at www.fedbizopps.gov/, or at the St. Louis District web site at www.mvs.usace.army.mil/, under the Contracting link. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective bidders must register at FedBizOpps www.fedbizopps.gov/, and if bidders would like their company name included on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) may do so on the FedBizOpps website under IVL.
