- FISC, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division, has a single source requirement to procure CISCO IT material to include catalyst chassis, Supervisor Module control processors, Gigabit Interface Converters, etc. Complete specifications will be provided with the Request for Quote. The Request for Quote number is N00189-08-T-N141. The closing date for submission of quotes is 7/25/08, 3:50 p.m. Submit requests for copies of the solicitation to FISC, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Maritime Industrial Division, Hampton Roads Division, Contracting Department, Building 1500, 2nd Floor, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, Attn: Norma Rogers, or email request to norma.rogers@navy.mil. TELEPHONE AND/OR FAX REQUESTS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Important Notice: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov. The NAICS classification is 334515 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED ON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The following information is applicable for all perspective offerors: (1) offeror must certify/verify that they are an authorized CISCO reseller; (2) that they have the certification necessary for what they are bidding; (3) certify that the equipment is NEW, in its original packing, and sourced either from CISCO or completely through its authorized partner channel distribution; and (4) certify that a valid software license will be provided for embedded CISCO IOS software and was licensed properly. NUMBERED NOTE 22 APPLIES. OFFERORS MAY EXPRESS INTEREST IN THE PROCUREMENT AT FEDBIZOPPS BUT WILL NOT GET A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION SENT TO THEM UNLESS THEY CONTACT THE PCO (N. ROGERS) DIRECTLY.
