Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA intends to award a Sole Source firm fixed price contract to the Raytheon Network Centric Systems, McKinney Texas for the Squad Integration Capabilities in Stafford VA. This effort will sustain current integration operations with technical improvements to select capabilities, provide engineering hardware/software and technical support, modeling and simulation support for infantry capabilities and analysis, evaluation support for integration projects, provide IT infrastructure and a knowledge management system, secure secret internet protocol router capability, facilitate the operation of an Infantry Immersive Trainer, liaison with infantry users and operational forces, provide a human factors capability to include trial support hardware and data collection systems, provide SME collaborative workspace, secure government/contractor equipment provisions, and support integration IPT meetings and conferences. Capability must be established and operational NLT 20 October 2008. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting a white paper, technical data for the items, and past performance data no later than 02 August 2008, to Marine Corps Systems Command, Attn: Donald Saunders, 2200 Lester St., Quantico, VA 22134. Responses received by 02 August 2008 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DoD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online Certifications and Representations at (ORCA), http://orca.bpn.gov, will also be required. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may make a vendor offeror ineligible for award.
