- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4625-08-Q-0015 is issued as a request for quotation to provide Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) enclosure part of the overall Adaptable Communications Suite (ACS) system with option to buy 20 more within 180 days upon receipt and acceptance of item 0001. This requirement requires the contractor build to specifications a metal enclosure, built to military Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) standards, which houses various components that allow pilots and maintainers to access critical communications capabilities from their respective crew/work stations. The KVM enclosure consists of 6 exterior panels, 6 internal brackets, 2 plexiglass windows, and a single power input. Design shall be in accordance with the attached drawings. CLIN 0001 is for a quantity of one (1) KVM Chassis and Enclosure. CLIN 0002 is an option to purchase twenty (20) additional KVM Chassis and Enclosure. The NAICS code is 332999 with the corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a total small business set aside. All offers are to remain valid until 30 September 2008. The government will make a best value award decision considering past performance, technical capability to perform, and price. Offerors shall provide information to demonstrate past performance and technical capability to perform with a price quote. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible to receive a DOD award or payment (http://www.ccr.gov/).
