Description
DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO DNE Technologies, Inc., to provide the following items under the authority of section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, FAR 13.501 (only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). DNE Technologies, Inc., 50 Barnes Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492, to purchase the following items: 1. Quantity of 2 each MCU2 Chassis (P/N: 97681005);2. Quantity of 6 each MCU2 Converter Module (P/N: 97680011);3. Quantity of 2 each MCU2 Base Internal Panel (P/N: 97680018);4. Quantity of 2 each MCU2 Expansion Interface Panel (P/N: 97680022);5. Quantity of 2 each TAC-300 Chassis w/ Power Supply & Backplane (P/N: 97550300);6. Quantity of 2 each ICM-E w/CPOD150 (P/N: 87550730);7. Quantity of 2 each 20MB Serial ATM XPOD (P/N: 87550670);8. Quantity of 2 each High Speed CES IPOD (P/N: 87550700);9. Quantity of 2 each High Speed CES Cable Kit (P/N: 21101103);10. Quantity of 2 each DS1 Circuit Emulation Quad IPOD (P/N: 87550230);11. Quantity of 2 each TAC Software License, 1 per ICME required, (P/N: TAC Software). The value of the contract is expected to be under $91,000.00. This notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government will be the sole determiner regarding an offers ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to 5 days after date of publication this synopsis before 10:00 AM PST on that date. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via U.S. Postal service should be mailed to: The Purchasing and Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/ Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force (MAGTFTC), P.O. Box 788153, Twentynine Palms, Ca 92278-6053, during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EOIs sent via Federal or hand carried must be delivered to: The Purchasing and Contracting Branch, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/ Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force (MAGTFTC), Building 1102, Door 22, P.O. Box 788153, Twentynine Palms, Ca 92278-6053. EOIs may be submitted via facsimile to Attn: Ernesto T. Pangan at (760) 830-6353. The facsimile transmission must clearly identify this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that EOI reaches the designated contracting officer on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages on the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in the office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This purchase will be under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.501(a)(1). The anticipated award date is July 24, 2008.
