- The proposed contract action supports the Defense Supply Center Richmond Information Operations-J6R training requirements for certification examinations provided by SANS Institute of Bethesda, Maryland. Under the proposed contract, the contractor will provide the SANS onsite training course entitled “MGT 512-SANS Security Leadership Essentials with Knowledge Compression (GSLC). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, SANS Institute under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 55 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Written responses detailing capabilities of interested parties must be submitted by email to: Martha.Nichols@dla.mil by 2:00 p.m. July 28,2008. The Government will not consider oral responses or submissions of written responses by means other than email. Interested parties may contact Martha.Nichols@dla.mil to obtain further information regarding this requirement.
