- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W45MW26169NX01 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. This requirement is small business set-aside and all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. Great Plains Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for NON-PERSONAL SERVICE (Speaker) shall provide all materials, labor and equipment to provide instruction focused on Prolonged Exposure Therapy Symposium; IAW Department of Preventive Health Services (DPHS), Soldier and Family Support Branch (SFSB), for a Certified Professional Speaker on the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) therapy advanced courses. There are three advanced courses that have been developed to provide evidence-based treatment for PTSD in Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, Congnitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Training is essential and mandatory IAW Army Medical Action Plan, for Psychiatric Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. Period of Performance 05 Aug 2008 thru 08 Aug 2008; of four (8 hours) days NTE 32 hours and provides: (1) PTSD/mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) Treatment a certified accreditation training of current emerging clinical practice guidelines that all medical and psychological health personnel are thoroughly trained to provide evidence based (best practice) treatment to Soldiers and family members impacted by psychological trauma; (2) Develop and implement processs for active duty healthcare providers on psychological health topics to primary care providers, classes specifically target nurses, physician assistants and primary care physicians on screening, assessment and treatment initiation for PTSD/mTBI. (3) Provide MTTs to specific installations where sudden and specific traumatic events generate and immediate training requirement. Sugested Source- Dr Edna Roa, PHD (Extended Medical Services). FAR provision 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors Commercial] applies to this acquisition to include the following addenda: All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) program. The CCR can be accessed via the internet at www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior to awarding a contract. Evaluation Process: All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria: Technical Capability and Price.
