- The Government announces a C-130 AMP Source Familiarization Phase(SFP) Presolicitation Conference, 12-13 August 2008. The Conference will be held at the Hope Hotel Conference Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Ohio 45433. The Hope Hotel is located in Area A, Building 823, and can be accessed off of Route 444. Visit Notices and/or base access requests will not be required. The purpose of the Presolicitation Conference is to communicate to industry the requirements outlined in the draft request for proposal (DRFP). All attendees must provide their name, title, and the name of the company they are representing to Major Michael Watson at (michael.watson@wpafb.af.mil) or 937-656-9690 by 1 August 2008. To help the Government team address any questions with the DRFP, please provide all comments and/or questions in writing to Major Watson, or Ms. Michele Sevey (michele.sevey@wpafb.af.mil) by COB 1 August 2008. Comments or questions should be annotated and submitted via the attached solicitation sheet. Responses will be posted to FedBizOps by COB 8 August 2008. Any additional comments and questions generated as a result of the Pre-Solicitation Conference must be submitted in writing to the individuals listed previously by end of business 15 August 2008. Responses will be posted to FedBizOps by 20 August 2008. Following the DRFP review on 12 August 2008, each company will be allotted a maximum of 30 minutes for individual face-to-face sessions with the Government team. Industry sessions will be scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis and must be made not later than 1 August 2008. No individual face-to-face sessions will be conducted after 13 August 08. Please contact Major Watson to coordinate arrangements. If your individual sessions will involve a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, please bring your presentation materials on electronic media and provide a hard copy to the government. The agenda for the Pre-Solicitation Conference is as follows: 12 August 2008, 0800-1200 DRFP Review (B-52 Strato-Fortress Room)12 August 2008, 1300-1600 Industry Side Sessions (B-52 Strato-Fortress Room)13 August 2008, 0800-1700 Industry Side Sessions (F-86 Sabre Room) Government briefing charts and any and all questions/answers pertaining to the DRFP will be made available on FedBizOps not later than 20 August 2008. If you have any questions, please contact Major Watson. This is not a Request for Proposal. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement. Submitting capabilities in response to this announcement is strictly voluntary, and participants shall not be compensated. This notification is to be considered a step in establishing industry understanding of the C-130 AMP SFP requirements.
