Description
This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined solicitation number is 08T0516. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 Commercial Items. This requirement is to have the contractor transport and dispose of 52,000 tons of waste. The associated North America Industry Classification System NAICS code is 562211 and small business size standard is 11.5 Million. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price unit of issue is fixed for one year from date of award to 30 July 09. Description of Requirement: 0001 Contractor to provide transportation and disposal of 52,000 tons of stabilized ballistic sand from Area 10 on Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri to the Johnson County Land fill in Kansas City, Kansas 66111. Contractor shall ensure that their trucks meet all DOT requirements and all drivers are US Citizens posses commercial driver license and have hazmat endorsement on their license. Company should be able to produce department of transportation training records, and notice of violations if needed. Monthly reports will be submitted at the end of each month. Unit of issue is an estimated quantity.
