- This is a Sources Sought Announcement. This is NOT a solicitation announcement for proposals. Interested parties are not to construe this announcement as a commitment by the Government to procure services or issue a solicitation for the purpose of soliciting offers. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requested. The Regional Contracting Office, Hawaii is conducting market research to seek qualified sources to provide/perform the tasks identified below. These tasks are not all inclusive, a DRAFT Statement of Work is provided as a download attachment. Interested parties are advised to review the DRAFT Statement of Work prior to submitting a response. a) Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) training, plan development and in-transit for the 8th Theater Support Command; b) plan, coordinate, and communicate CIRM (Critical Infrastructure Risk Management) for the U.S. Army Pacific Operational Protection Directorate; c) perform data analysis and training on CVAMP (Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program)for the Operational Protection Directorate; and d) plan and coordinate mission AT program assessment and training efforts for the U.S. Army Pacific. Place of Performance: Fort Shafter, Island of Oahu, State of Hawaii Clearances Required: SECRET and TOP SECRET with SCI Level Interested sources are invited to provide a statement of interest on company letterhead (not to exceed 20 pages in length) no later than 22 July 2008, 4:00 pm HST, which includes as a minimum the following: 1) For a maximum of 5 relevant projects, provide a narrative which describes prior and/or current knowledge and experience of services required under the Draft Statement of Work. Provide contact information for each project completed to include, point(s) of contact, phone number, and email addresses. 2) Provide experience and knowledge of personnel capable of providing required services. 3) Include a narrative describing the firms ability to obtain personnel with the required security clearances of SECRET and TOP SECRET with SCI. 4) State if the firm is a U.S. or foreign-owned entity. 5) Identify the firms socioeconomic standing (large or small business). If the firm is a small business concern, identify the specific small business category to which it is associated with (i.e. 8a certified, small-disadvantaged, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.).
