- This is a sources sought announcement. Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) is seeking to identify potential offerors that can provide a Vendor Managed Inventory for Welding Supplies at RIA-JMTC. Vendor Managed Inventory is defined as managing a contract account in accordance with generally accepted Vendor Managed Inventory practices, which optimize supply chain performance. This includes, but is not limited to resupply by the vendor through regularly scheduled reviews of on-site inventory counts, removal of damaged or outdated goods, and restocking of inventory to predetermined levels. This is not a request for quote, bid or proposals. However, interested potential offerors are encouraged to send commercial product/service literature that will provide the Government with the ability to determine the adequacy of the offered product/service for meeting RIA-JMTCs requirements.
