Description

This is a notice of intent by the Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA209) to issue orders under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0016 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. PMA209 intends to task Rockwell Collins to implement required hardware changes in the MX-11745 to develop a Low Noise Amplifier Triplexer to support evolving UHF satellite communication protocols and to implement required hardware changes in the AM-7526 to develop a High Power Amplifier to support evolving UHF Satellite communications protocols. The efforts shall encompass all Program Management aspects, systems engineering, systems architecture, hardware development, software development, and Data Deliverables. As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 radio and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio, it is the only source capable to provide the requested efforts. These efforts will be required through 30 Sept 2010. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
