- Fuel services at Government-owned, Contractor operated (GOCO) facilities, to include alongside aircraft refueling, bulk storage and distribution, ground fuel delivery, cryogenics operations to include operation and maintenance of Mobile Nitrogen Gas Generators, service station operations, and fuel laboratory operations within the NB Coronado, California (NAS North Island, NAB Coronado, NOLF Imperial Beach, and NALF San Clemente Island) region. The contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, personnel, labor, materials, parts, general and specialized equipment to maintain and operate Government (Navy) owned fuel and cryogenics facilities and equipment at various locations within the NB Coronado region. Contractor furnished refueling vehicles, tools and specialized equipment are required. The estimated base performance period is January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2012, with one (1) four year option period from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2016. Services are currently being performed by contractors. This procurement will be unrestricted. The solicitation will be published electronically on both the Fed Biz Opps website and the DESC-BX solicitation download website. http://www.desc.dla.mil/DCM/DCMPage.asp?pageid=45. The solicitation will not be posted to either website until the second week of July, 2008. Questions should be emailed to the email addresses within this announcement. Best Value Source Selection procedures will be used in this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered.
