- USACE, Vicksburg District, has a requirement for Rolls Royce Spey Mark 511-8 Engine Overhaul and Repair. The Contractor shall accomplish overhaul or replacement of a Rolls Royce Spey Mark 511-8 engine. This includes compliance with Airworthiness Directives, pertinent Service Bulletins, and modifications necessary to overhaul the engine to the standards of the current Rolls Royce/USACE Overhaul Specifications for Spey Engines MK 511-8. Accessory overhaul requirements are included in the Rolls Royce/USACE Accessory Overhaul Specifications for Spey engines MK 511-8. The Contractor shall also provide an FAA certificated Spey 511-8 rental engine if required for use during the overhaul period. The rental engine will have the CASC 216 fuel flow regulator flow schedule. Solicitation Number W912EE-08-T-0025will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Page at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 31 July 2008. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the FedBizOpps Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Offer due date on or about 2 September 2008, 1600 Hours.
