- The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson WV is seeking a vendor to supply and install four (4) new 14 guage steel doors with frames for the outer entrance doors of the A-building housing unit. Contractor's price shall include the cost of doors, and frames with half glass safety type with wire reinforcing between glass. The doors shall include Dorma 9300 panic release hardware or equivalent and door closer device mounted inside the building on outer vestibule door. Contractor will also be responsibile for the removal and disposal of existing aluminum doors and frames. This solicitation will be available on or before July 17, 2008 and will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site. Hard copies will not be available. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-based and community-based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible. A site visit for this acquisition has been set for August 11, 2008 at FPC Alderson, WV. The time for this visit is 11:00 a.m., eastern time.
