- This announcement constitutes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action. This will be a firm fixed-price acquisition for nine (9) Insurance Spare components (various part numbers) for the AE2100D3 engine applicable to the C-130J aircraft, to be purchased Sole-Source from Rolls-Royce Corporation, Indianapolis (CAGE: 63005). These components are commercial, being used on commercial aircraft with Rolls-Royce being the sole designer, developer and manufacturer having exclusive data rights. These items will be placed on a Delivery Order against Contract FA8504-07-D-0001, awarded on 1 Feb 2007, with the Order anticipated awarded during September 2008.
