- The Naval Medical Logistics Command intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13) with Stryker Endoscopy, 5900 Optical Court, San Jose, California 95138, as the one responsible source that can provide a Stryker endoscopic HD system and cameras. Stryker is the manufacturer of this equipment. This is a requirement for component expansion of the current Stryker Endoscopic Systems and is not a replacement system. Only Stryker can provide Stryker endoscopic devices compatible with the current installed base. Specifically, the contractor shall provide: - 1188 HD CCU (Part #1188-010-000, Quantity 2 each) - 1188 Camera Head and Coupler (Part #AKI00017-01, Quantity 6 each) - X8000 Lightsource (Part #AKI00024-01, Quantity 2 each) This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (IAW FAR 13). There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 423450 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received within 10 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted by email only as a MS Word or Adobe PDF attachment to Shannon Lertora at shannon.lertora@med.navy.mil. Statements are due by COB 25 July 2008.
