Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. CLIN 0005: SHIPPING CHARGE; QUANTITY: 0001; UNIT OF ISSUE: LOT; UNIT PRICE: ____________.Information for T-Shirt Design Five designs required for Blood Donor T-shirts These designs will be displayed on T-shirts that are used as incentive items for the collection of blood products needed in the support of the Global War on terrorism. Designs should reflect the appropriate professional image the Naval Medical Center San Diego Blood Donor Center wishes to project to its audience to enhance its collection efforts. NMCSD Blood Donor Center audience consists of active duty military, their family members, federal employees, reservists and military retirees. All branches of the service are represented though primary audience consists of U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps servicemembers. Donor age range spans from 18 to 80. Target audience demographics: 18-25year olds, primarily male, enlisted. Design should include the following: good quality, attention to detail, professionalism, creativity, effective use of design elements, and catchy messages which convey the particular image intended by the NMCSD Blood Donor Center. The message should combine the following ideals: patriotism, support for the troops/military with specific design which communicates the need to donate blood. Design must be designed in four color art utilizing industry standard software for design and layout such as Quarkxpress or Adobe Illustrator. In addition to the design, the T-shirts must also display the logo for the NMCSD Blood Donor Center as well as the Armed Services Blood Program. These logos will be supplied by the customer. T-shirt design will be used on different color T-shirts which can include but is not limited to the following colors: white, black, red, grey, charcoal, and navy. The government will only consider firm fixed price quotations. The provision can also be submitted at www.orca.bpn.gov. Contractor must be registered to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. A nine digit Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number provided by Dun and Bradstreet is required to register. The website address for CCR registration is www.ccr.gov.
