- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Information Technology Acquisition Center, Washington, DC intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Generis Knowledge Management, Inc, Princeton, NJ; for a one-time procurement of DocSecure™ watermarking solution with Watermarking and Controlled Printing modules. This procurement enables compliance with legal requirements for printing A-file documents that are currently stored in the Agency’s Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS). The DocSecure product provides seamless integration with the current EDMS software to enable both dynamic watermarking using existing metadata and access-level control over printing A-File documents. With this solution, the Agency will have the ability to dynamically enforce policy regarding who can print A-File documents and the exact information that will be overlaid on documents prior to printing. The DocSecure product is the only marketed solution that provides direct integration with the EMC Documentum software platform to support these requirements. The authority for this non-competitive award is 41 USC 253(c)(1) as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Interested concerns may identify their interest and submit a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to provide the required watermarking. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available. Responses to RUIO-08-01 must be in writing. All questions should be directed to Mr. Robert Fields at Robert.Fields@dhs.gov or Ms Irma Scott Irma.Scott@dhs.gov. If no affirmative responses are received by 1:00 PM EST on July 24, 2008, the Contracting Officer will proceed to issue a contract to Generis Knowledge Management, Inc. The NAICS code is 541511
