- There is no solicitation. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services Division in Portland, OR has plans to award using other than full and open competition to Magic Valley Heli-Arc & Mfg., Inc. Twin Falls, Idaho 83301for the following items: One fish pump, one main drive 2.H.lP. electric motor, 2 H.P. Motor, 230/440 Volt, 1 Phase, 50/60 Hz. one 1 H.P. priming pump motor. Dual drive pulleys and belts for main fish pump drive. Stainless steel wet tank. Powder coated steel electrical control panel, including all electrical components to start and stop priming pump and fish pump. Also includes variable speed control for fish pump. Eight foot electrical pig tail (does not include male plug). Large, pneumatic rubber rear tires, pneumatic rubber front swivel castors. Complete and ready to operate. Each Unit Includes:2.5" Female Airtight to Hose Bib Fittings2.5" Stainless Steel V-Clamps with Two 2.5" Rubber O-Ring Gaskets2.5" Suction ConeRemote control, 2.5" x 100' Clear spiral hose without fittings, 2.5" x 50' Clear spiral hose without fittings, 2.5" Airtight fitting to hose bib coupler set for clear spiral hose, 2.5" Camlock to hose bid coupler set for clear spiral hose which includes male and female couplers, 2.5" Dewaterer retrofit to fit inside of existing dewatererMagic Valley is the the sole source supplier of the fish pump with 2.5" pipe. The Service intends to award Sole Source to Magic Valley limited. This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue award using other than full and open competition and is not a request for competitive proposals. The determination of the Government not to open subject requirement to full and open competition was made IAW FAR 6.302-1.
